Current Need:
The SK biotek Ireland maintenance team here at the Swords Campus in partnership with CPL are looking for a Junior Maintenance and Reliability Engineer on a 12-month contract reporting into the Senior Maintenance Planner.

Position Description:
This role will be responsible for maximizing plant efficiency and utilization with effective planning of maintenance activities and resources across the site. The Maintenance and Reliability Engineer act as a key technical person responsible for preventive maintenance routines, proactive failure identification and resolution of repetitive failures and long-term issues.

In addition, this role will be responsible for the provision of technical support to the Maintenance teams on site along with participation in cross functional projects and other company initiatives.

The role will also involve:
• Support the day-to-day planning, spares parts optimization and implementation of maintenance workflow. Manage vendors in order to complete calibrations, preventive maintenance and planned corrective maintenances. Planning and coordination of Major Overhauls, Shutdowns and Changeovers.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis and assisting in the investigation and resolution of electrical, instrumentation and mechanical issues on process equipment and support compliance efforts related to Safety Events, Quality Events, CAPAs, S&OP review, change management and investigations.
• Assist on the implementation of Predictive/Prescriptive maintenance and Maintenance 4.0 strategies. Analyze historical and real-time operational data from PI System and convert into maintenance insights to predict failures by using PI Vision, PI AF (Asset Framework), CMMS (Maximo) and Analytics platforms (Excel, SpotFire, PowerBi).
• Support on the Pipework Integrity Programme, RBI (Risk Based Inspection) activities and PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) requirements onsite, including but not limited to planning, scheduling and coordinate all related inspections, as well as plan any corrective action as required and keep the CMMS updated with current asset integrity strategy.
• Ensure that maintenance routines, procedures, and work plans are developed to the necessary standards for best practice and ensure compliance with GMP and EHS regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• The successful candidate must possess at minimum a Level 7 Maintenance/Engineering qualification, preferable in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent coupled with at least 2 years’ experience in a relevant role preferably in the pharmaceutical, chemical or related industry.
• Working knowledge of Maximo or other CMMS system and Microsoft Office.
• High level of attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities and able to analyze technical reports and data trends and identify root cause.
• The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in continuous improvement projects, maintenance planning, maintenance or reliability excellence, a good knowledge of mechanical systems and display developed troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with Pressure Systems Regulations (2012 – S.I. No. 445 of 2012) and/or non-destructive testing in pipework and vessels is an advantage.
• Work experience with data analytics with proficiency in Excel (Advanced & Data Modelling), SpotFire, Minitab or PowerBi will be a distinct advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a cross functional collaborative environment.
