Current Need:
The SK biotek Procurement team here at the Swords campus in partnership with CPL are looking for a Procurement Buyer on a 6 month temporary.

Position Description:
To plan and implement Raw Material Supply Strategy based on the current manufacturing schedule and new product introduction (NPI) projects. To place and monitor all purchase orders for material required to support manufacturing processes, including at vendor locations.
Key Metrics
• External supplier receipt to promise (RTP)
• Production schedule attainment
• Overdue purchase orders.

Manage Operations
• Plan and implement Raw Material Supply Strategy based on the current manufacturing plan and new product introduction (NPI) projects
• Own planning for raw material in the short, medium and long term.
• Place all relevant purchase orders and engage with vendors to agree delivery schedules to support the production plan.
• Coordinate all activities required to assure the availability of API and raw materials.
• Inform Master Scheduler and Supply Chain Manager of potential delays to material delivery that may impact production.
• Collaborate with Procurement to manage and solution any vendor-related supply issues.
• Manage raw material delivery schedule through SAP to ensure production schedules are met.
• Seek to optimise the procedures used in the supply chain planning process.
• As required, perform customs clearance for incoming materials
• Support inventory control by managing stock levels to minimise obsolescence risk. Support both internal and customer inventory reviews.
• Create sales orders to support outward shipping process.
• Manage material inventory to minimise inventory holding cost and obsolescence.
• Support Finance in budgeting and projection processes.

Minimum Requirements:
• Ability to analyse complex data and summarise into critical points.
• Ability to cope with uncertainty and clearly identify critical success factors.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to communicate across geographical and cultural boundaries.
• Working knowledge of planning system (e.g. SAP).
• Working knowledge of PC packages such as Excel, Word and Powerpoint
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail is required.
• Proactive and positive/solution orientated attitude.
• Must be effective in influencing decisions and mulitifunctional priority setting across boundaries.
• The ability to work on ones own initiative with minimum supervision and a proven track record in meeting goals.
• The ability to grow and progress within the Company.
• The ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external to the Company.
The individual should enjoy working in a dynamic and results orientated team.
Desirable Requirements:
• Planning, Chemical or engineering qualification beneficial.
• Experience of bulk pharmaceutical, chemical or biologics environment and processing.
• SAP and Excel experience essential.
• APICS certification desired.
