Jaeyon Yoon PhD
VP, Business Development
As the Vice President, Head of Global Marketing, Jaeyon is responsible for SK pharmteco's global Sales & Marketing development. Jaeyon has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Jaeyon joined SK in 1990 as a starting member for SK biotek. Since then, he has worked in R&D, Business Development, Marketing and M&A activities.He graduated from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea with a degree in Chemistry, he received his PhD from Case Western Reserve University in the U.S. after undertaking a Doctorate in ‘Organic/Organometallic Synthesis and its application’. He also undertook a Postdoctoral research position in Organometallic and Organic Chemistry at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
Steve Barr PhD
VP, Business Development
Steve joined SK in 2018 and serves as the Vice President, Business Development of SK pharmteco. Steve has over 28 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and CDMO space.He spent his early career working with large pharma in a range of technical and operational roles. He then moved into Strategic Sourcing and Procurement before moving into Business Development. Over the last 16 years Steve has worked with a variety of leading CDMO’s, taking progressive senior commercial responsibilities. Steve completed his PhD in Organic Chemistry at the University of Glasgow, Scotland.
Conrad Hummel PhD
VP, Business Development
Conrad serves as VP, Business Development at SK pharmteco. Since 2014, Conrad held a similar position at AMPAC Fine Chemicals, now a part of SK pharmteco.Previously, he was with Array BioPharma, a fully integrated drug discovery and development company, which was acquired by Pfizer in 2019. Having joined from inception, he progressed to Associate Director of Business Development. Prior to Array, he was a Research Scientist at Amgen, where he focused on the development of clinical candidates for oncology and autoimmune diseases. He began his career in Glaxo’s Medicinal Chemistry department. Conrad received a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Gettysburg College and a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of California, San Diego.
Tomoyuki Kitano PhD
Executive Director Business Development
Tomoyuki is an Executive Director Business Development, dedicating his activities to the Japanese market. He has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and CDMO industry.In 1994, he joined Osaka Soda as a Chemical Scientist and developed chiral intermediates for the pharma industry. In 1999, Tomoyuki moved into Sales and Business Development and in 2005 opened the representative office in the U.S. After returning to Japan in 2009, he served as the Head of Corporate Research Laboratories, the President of DAISO Fine Chem GmbH (subsidiary in Germany), and the President of Sanyo Fine (subsidiary for CDMO in Japan). Tomoyuki holds a PhD from the Hiroshima University in Japan.
Nikolaos Petousis PhD
Executive Director Business Development
Nick is Executive Director Business Development at SK pharmteco. He joined SK biotek, now a part of SK pharmteco, in 2009 as Director of Marketing and contributes to the company's growth.In 1990, he joined Northwestern University Medical School as a Postdoc where he synthesized LHRH and Oxitocin antagonist. He then joined Pfizer in Ann Arbor, Michigan as a Postdoctoral Fellow where he worked on renin inhibitors. In 1993, Nick joined Abbott Laboratories as a Process Scientist in Chemical Development in Waukeegan, Illinois. He developed a process for LHRH antagonist and received the “Scientist of the Year” award for the effort. In 1995, he joined the Custom Pharmaceuticals Group within Abbott where he was involved with third-party manufacturing. Finally, in 2001, he left Abbott and ventured into Business Development with major CDMO companies. Nick holds a PhD from The University of Toledo in the United States.
Brian Fairley PhD
Senior Director of Business Development
Brian joined SK biotek, now a part of SK pharmteco, in 2018 as Director of Business Development. He is responsible for Business Development activities and Sales support functions. Brian has 18 years of global experience in the custom development and manufacture of New Chemical Entities and generic APIs. He has worked across the pharmaceutical development chain from drug discovery through to commercial manufacturing, leveraging the strengths of an organization to bring maximal benefit to customers.Brian spent his early career working in Process Development before progressing into Sales and Marketing. He held leadership positions in the U.S. and Europe, and more recently, established and managed European-based operations for a leading global CDMO. Brian completed his PhD in Organic Chemistry at Heriot-Watt University.
Ali Suleman PhD
Executive Director, Business Development
As an Executive Director of Business Development, Ali is focused on the expansion of SK pharmteco's CMO business strategy focusing on diversification of the company's product and customer base. Ali develops product strategies that elevate organizational performance while building cross-functional teams for successful execution of key corporate initiatives.Prior to joining SK pharmteco, Ali held a similar positions at AMPAC Fine Chemicals, Johnson Matthey, and E. Merck Darmstadt. Ali holds a PhD in Organic and Medicinal Chemistry from The University of Toledo and a Postdoctoral fellow focusing on Synthetic Organic and Medicinal Chemistry from Arizona State University. Ali also holds an Executive Certificate in Business Management from Thunderbird University, Garvin School of International Management.
Pedro Couto Rosado
Senior Director of Business Development
In 2018 Pedro joined SK biotek, now a part of SK pharmteco, supporting business primarily in the DACH region. Pedro has over 30 years of experience in operational and commercial roles within the pharmaceutical CDMO industry.Pedro held the position of Technical/Plant Director at an FDA inspected facility in Macau, leading a very significant expansion plan. After which he moved to Head of Corporate Engineering overseeing the installation of the first very large scale GMP spray-drying facility at a CDMO. In 2006, Pedro moved into Sales and Business Development of generic APIs and custom services outside the U.S. Since 2008, Pedro has changed his focus to Services Business in Europe. Pedro holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lisbon and an MBA from the Catholic University (Macau).
Nick Duda
Excutive Director of Business Development
Nick has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical CDMO industry. He joined AMPAC Fine Chemicals (AFC), now a part of SK pharmteco, in 2003 as a Process Scientist in R&D. He then joined the Business Development group and was promoted to Director of Business Development in 2015. Nick serves as the lead for multiple global clinical development and commercial projects at SK pharmteco.Prior to SK pharmteco, Nick spent 3 years working for GSK (Dartford) as a Continuous Improvement Project Leader where he obtained his Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma methodology. Nick holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Kalamazoo College in Michigan.
Audraí O’Dwyer
Global Marketing Communications Lead
Audraí is responsible for SK pharmteco's global Marketing Communications Strategy, both traditional and digital, as well as branding, social media, advertising, website, sponsorship and exhibition presence. Audraí has over 30 years of experience in Marketing Communications, 16 of which have been in the medical and pharmaceutical industry.Audraí is qualified in Public Relations through the Public Relations Institute of Ireland, holds a Bachelor's (hons) in Marketing and Postgraduate diplomas in Journalism, Psychology and Digital Marketing as well as qualifications in Web Design.
Marc Jacob PhD
Executive Director of Business Development, AMPAC Analytical, an SK pharmteco Company
Marc serves as Director of Business Development for one of SK pharmteco's analytical services facilities, AMPAC Analytical. Marc has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and CDMO industry. He has experience in R&D developing chiral building blocks, oligonucleotides, as well as the development and cGMP manufacture of peptide APIs. Prior to SK pharmteco, he was a Global Product Manager for chiral and preparative chromatography.Marc earned his Doctorate in Synthetic Organic Chemistry at the University of Montpellier, France with an emphasis on asymmetric synthesis of amino acids. Marc completed his Postdoctoral at Texas A&M University under supervision of Sir Derek Barton (Nobel Laureate 1969).
Christoph Cambouris
Chief Commercial Officer, Yposkesi, an SK pharmteco Company
Christophe Cambouris joined Yposkesi as Chief Commercial Officer in July 2022.With over 20 years of business experience in the cell and gene therapy field, Christophe has held several business development and marketing positions. These include 14 years at Miltenyi Biotec where he was Sales and Marketing Director then European Director for Strategic Accounts.
Christophe holds an Immunology master’s degree from the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes in Paris.
Patrick Lansky
VP, US Sales & Marketing, Yposkesi, an SK pharmteco Company
Patrick Lansky joined Yposkesi as VP of US Sales and Marketing in 2019. Patrick has worked in various positions in life sciences over the past 25 years before joining Yposkesi.Patrick started his career working at Idec Pharmaceuticals where he spent 5 years learning the ins and outs of protein development and manufacturing. Patrick then moved to the business side of the industry where he spent 8 years selling single-use systems for Stedim. He then spends 10 years developing business for a gene and cell therapy CMO.
Patrick holds a BS in Physiology and Neuroscience from UC San Diego and currently resides in La Jolla, CA.
