The SK pharmteco Small Molecule Ireland site is seeking a Chemical Engineering graduate to participate in our Graduate Engineer Placement Programme, which will commence in September 2024.
The successful graduate will participate in an 18-month graduate placement program, which will include rotations in Small Scale Processing, Large Scale Processing, and Maintenance functions within the Operations Department, based at our Swords API manufacturing site. The successful candidate will be provided with challenging engineering projects to complete & responsibilities for the day-to-day running of our manufacturing plants under the guidance of an experienced engineer.
The graduate will be provided with an independent mentor whom they will meet with on a regular basis to discuss their placements and development. Graduates will
also have the benefit of exposure and participation in an Operational Excellence (Lean Manufacturing) focused organization.
The successful candidate will receive a comprehensive compliance and developmental training plan that will support their development and industry awareness.
The successful graduate must be technically competent in engineering, as proven through course results and relevant work experience. Strong interpersonal and communications skills are required for this position, as well as excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive approach, and a commitment to compliance and continuous improvement.
